Dear Bill- Congratulations on your retirement! I will miss your voice greeting me every weekday morning. You have been such an important part of my day, and have added so much to my appreciation of your selections with the added information regarding composers and circumstances around the compositions. You have earned some time off- but I’m certain your life will always be immersed in music. Thank you for all you have given to your listeners, and especially this one.

Thank you Bill, for all the years. I've been listening to you since forever, including a ten year stint in Toronto (via the magic of Internet radio). Mornings won't be the same...we will miss you, but I understand...there comes a time. Bon voyage and all the best. Peter Cameron

Hi Bill, Enjoy your retirement years; they can be very special. I am retired since September 1998, and have found them very fulfilling years. One part I have found relaxing is your morning slot on WMHT; it often started my day. You will be missed, needless to say.

Bill - when I moved to Savannah, GA from Cobleskill in 2016, I brought WMHT along, courtesy of streaming. I will miss your presence on WMHT, but wish you all the best on this new journey. God speed.

Bill - You've been an important part of my morning routine for the last dozen or so years. I've enjoyed your passion not only for the music but for wanting your listeners to learn a bit more about it as well. Rob Brown just called you a "class act", which is certainly true. A few days ago, someone compared you favorably with Robert J; I'd agree, adding that you've seemed much more approachable and down-to-earth than he. Your closing piece (the Sad Songs) was a stroke of genius. I'd never heard them before, but they spoke profoundly to me, helping me say goodbye and, I'm sure, vice-versa. Thank you for it all, and best wishes for a long, happy, and healthy retirement.

Bill - where have the years gone? I retired about a year and a half ago, and it's wonderful. I hope yours will be full of good things.
